Wendy Steele Slabaugh

Wendy Steele Slabaugh, air personality and MD for QFM in the 80's and account manager at CD101 since 1991, died suddenly at her home on Saturday morning.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 3rd at the Epstein Funeral Home, 3232 E. Main Street, at 2pm.

Wendy loved Columbus, choosing to stay here even though her talents could have taken her to greater heights in bigger, more glamorous markets. Countless people have witnessed her energy, passion and talent over her too-short career in the industry and we are all lucky to have known her.

>I would ditto everything below--a very nice, authentic human being. And although Wendy was definitely all about Columbus, she also did spend some time at WMMS/Cleveland, during its heyday.

Much too young.
