Now that the two Birmingham Christmas stations have once again returned to their "seats", I noticed that WENN is no longer broadcasting Easy 97.3's soft AC programming (or even simulcasting it), as it is running the "Y'all" variety hits format once again. There doesn't appear to be an FM translator companion for 1320, since the station is IDing as "WENN, Birmingham". Just wondering if there isn't some sort of plans to revive Y'all on one of SummitMedia's FM translators...maybe W256CD (99.1)? Most of Y'all's listeners are probably unwilling to listen to an AM station, and let's face it...most of them have moved on and are unaware that their station has been relegated to the AM dial, anyway.

Could be. Lots of interest lately with stations changing to Classic Hip-Hop. Still...there are quite a bit of urban-formatted stations in Birmingham, especially with B 106.5 debuting. Can one more survive? Right now, SummitMedia is serving up some GREAT programming on WENN 1320. It's called "Dead Air". lol. Will "Y'all" return to 1320? Easy? Or will SummitMedia spin the "format wheel" again? Stay tuned...
