It's been interesting listing to WEQX today (11/14), the 40th anniverary of their launch. So many people have been through that station. It's been fun listening.

Their first CD player was mounted on a shelf.....BEHIND the board op!!
It was controlled with the remote....the op had to actually point it----
behind his back!!
You had to be a contortionist to successfully operate the thing....but it was fun to WATCH.....!!!
The main studio looked out at the summit of Mt. Equinox!
