"Jack" guardian SparkNet sues Clear Channel for infringement in San Diego and Columbia , SC.
Columbia is a "whatever" question - is CC's "playing whatever we want" too close to SparkNet's "playing what we want"? While the San Diego case is about an Internet site ("JackFMSanDiego.com"). Clear Channel EVP/Chief Legal Officer Andy Levin says they haven't seen the suit yet.
 
This is interesting considering Clear Channel's protectiveness of its own copyrights. Principally, "Kiss".
