benale, I predicted months ago that WOGL would pass B101 and there would be no looking back. AC stations across the US are going to have to redefine themselves in order to get back up. Katy Perry, Madonna, Pink etc., are kiddie artists. Adults in the their mid to late twenties and up may listen to an occasional song from one of these artists but will change to another station if your playlist is defined by these artists. There is another reason that offices are turning off these type of AC stations. It's the inappropriate lyrics factor. Many of the songs being featured by the new AC artists are laced with inappropriate, sexual language. In my opinion it is somewhat obvious why these stations are tanking. There are a few stations at the Jersey Shore that really do a great job with an alternative AC type format. The local Philly/Delaware stations would do well to consider: LIFT FM 97.9 (AC Christian - my favorite station), WSNQ-FM 105.5 (oldies upbeat AC) and WIBG-FM 94.3 (Classic somewhat COMPARABLE TO WOGL).
