There was a 93.3 WERO in Greenville NC that was a Hot AC-leaning CHR (pretty sure it still is)...weird
WERQ is an urban station in Baltimore.
I believe he's referring to Q-97.7

Judging by that playlist the station, whose call letters are WEQR, and serves Goldsboro(a bit west of Greenville), is now a CHR/Pop outlet.

It didn't fail - I looked it up lol - they've got it classified as Hot AC though
Back to Q97.7: It's good to hear that the area has a CHR again.
