The secret spot is cool but I wish they would bring back Rockers ( reggae, dancehall music ) and 88.9 at night ( hip hop music ) .

There's no such thing as a "cookie cutter AAA." That other college-owned (but not student-staffed) AAA in Boston, WUMB, sounds nothing like WERS. And neither sounds like WFUV New York or commercial WNCS Montpelier, VT.

I used to love that program....like some of the other comments, WERS sounds more like WXRV (The River) as every day passes....neither of which I find very listenable.
