WERX 102.5 Signal

Did The Shark change their power or tower? Last month they would be off the air sometimes and now their signal seems better in VA. Also, where does WSKY 4 transmit, at what power and tower height?
What do you think of the signal of both of these stations? In VA WSKY 4 does not put in a enough signal to see the station but does show up on the signal meter of the converter box. (WSKY 4 transmits on CH 9) I had heard their tower fell down during construction so I wonder if they rebuilt or moved it from the VA NC border. I saw a tall tower in the Coinjock area while visiting, I wonder if they transmit there?

I looked at the FCC website and WERX has not moved. They could have been doing some antenna or transmitter repair. I know their signal always seems to be weaker than it once was whenever I'm vacation in Rodanthe, and it's possible they have it fixed now since you have them stronger in VA. I wonder if they can apply for a power increase to 100kw since Louisburg's 102.5 moved west to Hillsborough?

WSKY's tower did fall during a storm while it was being built. I don't know how tall it was when it came down. I did read that they bought the analog antenna and transmitter of WSOC-TV9 in Charlotte and converted the transmitter to digital, but I think that was after the first tower fell.

This doesn't mean much but years ago I picked up WERX where I live. The signal might not be as good now as it was then, but something was going on if it blocked out WIOZ-FM.

I thought I had worded that to mean it was an unusual situation.

They have definitely done something. The signal is like it was back in the 90s-early 00s... From the time they moved to Columbia and raised power. My radio is stopping on 102.5 on seek while driving around Greenville. That hasn't been the case for a few years.
