Here's a question for RFGuy or any other slide-rule radio geeks:

With 102.5 moving from Franklin County to Orange County...
Can The Shark, 102.5 Columbia up the power a bit?

I like the station and enjoy tuning it in on the Banks. But it doesn't really blast a signal into Manteo, KDH, or Hatteras.

Right now WERX sits on a 700ft stick with 64,000watts.
 
I hit the post button by mistake. Looks like you are looking at a C1 to A spacing= 178 miles

I haven't really ever understood this. It doesn't even max a C1 out on power... why aren't they 100kw?
