WERZ has gone christmas

For the third year in a row 107.1 WERZ has gone all christmas. It happened Friday November 19th, 2010 according to their playlist. 94.9 WHOM and 100.9 WYNZ haven't gone christmas yet.

Not Breaking News!

OK...sad that so many do the SAME thing because someone else is doing it.

Equally sad is that someone feels the duty to report it to everyone else.

snoozer....

Kudos to wpxt for reporting the change. This way we get to hear all the format change news without having to actually sit and listen to this dreck. An essential service!

I saw a blurb in the paper that 92.9 in Bangor was starting last week with just nights until this weekend, but when I tuned in, nothing but dead air. I guess the Grinch got to them.

As of this morning (a reply to a FaceBook inquiry yesterday said it was going to happen at Midnite) WHOM has joined the X-mas fray.

As sure as the sunsets every evening, at this time of the year you can count on

a. who will play Alice's Restaurant this year?
b. when will station x begin playing Christmas music?

At least one (without a life) :) will know the exact times.

Hasn't WERZ gone back to a more Hot AC approach? If so, going Christmas is a mistake. It's compatable with WHOM but not this station.
