West has had some fairly serious health problems of late and is have a major procedure today which will keep him sidelined for a few weeks. Thought the board should know this and keep him in your prayers.

I spoke to Wes last week. He was in fantastic spirits as you might expect if you know him. If I hear anything today, I'll post updates. I hope anyone else who knows him does the same.
 
Wes is one of the Greensboro Market's veterans and has always been a pro. I wish him the very best and hope he will be back at it soon. I'm sure the people at WIST's Country Legends are missing his being there.

I haven't been listening lately but I do miss him when he's gone.

We can blame the Saturday morning investment show for this. Were that not there I'd keep my radio on WIST. Of course, I have to switch over to Mike Huckabee every day at 3 anyway (or 8:30 if I'm in the car then), but since the interference on WIST isn't as bad near sunset as the interference on the Mike Huckabee station, I would go back to WIST if not for the Saturday morning show. I just get mad when I have to change stations on Saturday. Ironically, I changed my grocery shopping to Friday during the big snows.

Oh, yeah. With no air conditioning in the winter, I can listen to the Mike Huckabee station farther south. At 3 I just have to get hot in the summer, though I would be running down my battery even more if I didn't..
