The only program left from WW1's NBC Radio Network is "First Light." I also believe the NBC Hotline cue tone that goes back to the original NBC Radio and
continued on WW1's version is gone, as well as the satellite channels "NBC-E"
and "NBC-W." There were WW1 drive time sports reports fed on the old NBC channels that still are sent out on the NBC News Radio channel, but they are from WW1 and not branded "NBC."
For awhile, there were two "NBC" branded services running simultaneously: the
CBS-produced, "NBC Radio News" AM TOHs and the newer NBC News Radio updates.
Eventually the CBS "NBC Radio News" TOHs were phased out.
The current NBC News Radio is a joint venture between WW1 and NBC. It replaced
the part time FOX operation at WW1, when FOX elected to have a full service network. NBC News Radio has one minute news updates at (I believe) :45 with a repeat (or update, if needed) on the hour, weekdays, 6AM-10PM ET. Actuality reports are from NBC or MSNBC. Anchor's scripts written by WW1 staff at CBS Hq in DC. Anchors are from WW1, NBC, MSNBC and sometimes CNBC. There are WW1 sports reports during drivetime. WW1 morning entertainment feed. Newsfeeds from NBC and MSNBC. Stations also get access to MSNBC audio. In fact, WOR in NYC over the weekend was using some reports taken from an MSNBC feed. NBC News Radio is inactive over the weekend, although stations do get "Meet the Press" and MSNBC feeds.
The satellite channel over which NBC News Radio is sent is labeled NBCRN.
WW1 also has two RADAR-rated advertising networks with NBC in their brand, but I believe they have nothing to do with NBC News Radio or NBC radio.
