I've just notice about 540 AM out of Wendell. 540 is going for a power change? Which I'm suprise that it is still around.
 
Agree 100%. It Is Such A Waste Of A Great Signal In The Area. How Much Longer Can She Hang On? Because Of LaLey 96.9 FM and 101.1 FM?
 
I spoke with their engineer a year or two ago about plans to build out that construction permit, and he said they were trying to raise the capital to build it out, with little success. I don't see where any towers are being added, but he indicated the work to go from the current 4kW daytime plant to 10 kW would still be pretty involved.
 
I'm Suprise That The FCC Would Let Them Raise Their Power To 10K. What Happen To Lewis Parrish Who Use To Own That Signal Many Years Ago?

Lew has been dead for awhile, if I remember correctly. I first met Lew in 1984 when I was in radio and he wasn't a young man then.

cant be that much of a "waste" they have been spanish as long as I can remember..someones listening..someones buying advertising
