Miami/Fort Lauderdale WEXI-FM the supersized LP

Broadcasting just 70 W ERP from the 121 foot rooftop of an office building located only a mile west of A1A on Hallandale Beach Boulevard wouldn't seem to get you very far, yet WEXI-LP 102.3 is able to be heard clearly all the way in Coconut Creek. It totally steps all over WMBX 102.3 of Palm Beach throughout central and northern Broward despite WMBX broadcasting with 100,000 W. Has anyone else noticed the strength of this supposedly low power signal? I used to love listening to X102.3 up in Central and northern Broward which always came in pretty good.. now they are totally jammed by WEXI. For only 70 W WEXI-LP has better signal coverage of Broward than 3000 W WKPX 😂

I am not accusing or or eluding to something nefarious, but with the recent government shutdown and now the FCC is backed up, this would be the ideal time to "accidentally increase" the power. It is up to the regular honest broadcasters to make sure they are not harmed, signal wise.

Someone should "file" against them next renew. It LP but I am sure there is something about being an "unfit". There are folks on this site who know a lot more about these stations.
