Wow...finally a station with REAL music with the greatest singers of all time. People like Sinatra, Andy Williams, Dean Martin...the best of great adult standards mixed in with the better singers of today...Finally a station that everyone in the family can listen to. This is a station for people who enjoy GOOD music not garbage...Gary, what a pleasant surprise...Hopefully,this station will do quite well...this format did well a few years ago when they had AMERICAS BEST MUSIC on WMID 1340 AM..Dont forget, there are a lot of retirees and seniors down here living at the jersey shore who have had nothing to listen to...this station should do quite well....
 
Rob???? as in Rob Garcia??? Really... this is not a place for advertisements... (not that I've listened to the station.... haven't had a chance to get down to Cape May lately)...
 
Been listening on line the last few hours, a really good refreshing variety, Herb Alpert to Dean Martin fantastic, with no commercials LOL....The audio is really bad, and no stereo separation...how do they sound over the air??? WMID has great stereo separation on line and they are an AM mono signal, go figure....btw, won't this compete with WMID and WCMC a bit, what is Gary thinking..he better not dump WMID, the best oldies station on the planet.
 
I am not in any way connected with equity communications...this is my personal opinion of the station....WHAT 1340 AM in Phila is doing the same type of format...but we will never know how successful it is in Phila because WHAT is a 1,000 watt AM station that hardly covers Phila proper, so we cant really judge how well it would do in the ratings if on an fm station
 
I agree with Rob, that station should do well on FM. Haven't heard it yet but I will when I have to travel down that way next week.
It's funny though how Up n Down always seems to pop in whenever Fisher's Group is mentioned. I also seem to remember a post that said he was one of the owners at Atlantic, (not that there is anything wrong with an owner of a station posting here, because I have seen others do it).
