They have Rebecca Flores doing traffic. She has a lot more personality,better appearance on camera than Morticia..um Alexis. She's actually pleasant to people who work there. Did Kathy Clements ( former Mrs Hill) receive a konk on the head then woke up and hired Rebecca? Wow, if so keep the smelling salts away.
 
Well yeah I know Kathy is hung up on Mort..Uh Alexa,but Rebecca is far more suited to do the job. I wonder what hold Alexa has on Ch.8? related to someone in management? Knows management "personally"?
None the less Rebecca Flores lost the weight after the delivery of her child. and Ch.11 was stupid is not allowing her to return after her maternity leave. Maybe its a trend and the same holds for Alexa.
Brenda Teele ) Jackson has tied Chip Moody for working at the three major outlets. Ch.5 weather, Ch.11 Positively Texas, and now Channel 8. If she moves to channel 4..she will be the title holder.

Correction, KXAS only hires degreed meteorologists, which Brenda T-J is not. She was a news reader there. She did do weather on the morning show at KTVT right after it became a CBS affiliate, before (or at the same time) she did Positively Texas).
 
Correction she did indeed do weather there on the weekends for a very short time. They then switched her to am saturday news. After that she boogied off. I was surprise to see her do weather at Channel, it was just before Christa? came over fron the Ft.Worth NWS to do weekend weather. They were in a flux the last days of Chessner.
 
I can't say whether Brenda EVER did weekend weather at 5, but it wasn't anytime since 2000. I can clarify the timeline a bit, however.

Brenda left KXAS (doing the morning news) before Krista Villarreal. Krista left the station (for a job in Pittsburgh) before Scott Chesner.
 
Brenda Teele never did weather on KXAS, I promise you. Before Krista, it was a guy named Mike Simon. Simon actually started out doing weekday mornings when he was hired in 1996 or 97....they then moved Rebecca Miller to Noon and 5pm weather. When the weekend morning newscast started up in '97 or '98, Simon moved to weekend mornings and they moved Becky Miller back to weekday mornings.

Regardless of the Greek siren of Sherman, Texas comes back to WFAA or not, I think she has earned a nickname. Three cheers for MORT. Hip, Hip, Blahsay.

BTW, Brenda has never dawned the glory of a green screen. It usually doesn't match her eye shadow. Woof.
