Earlier today on Chris Russo's show, Mad Dog took a caller apparently from Italy. He told Russo he was brought to Italy on business for a week, and that he could not find a single bar in Milan with satellite, thuse he couldn't see the Giants/Cowboys playoff game. He then wondered if WFAN, knowing they'd carry the game, would stream the game on their website, and Russo told the caller that they indeed would stream the game.
I thought it was against league policy to stream games on stations' websites, unless they got special permission (earlier this year, WYSP streamed one game, Giants/Eagles, in conjunction with a Veterans Day promotion). Unless the caller was a plant designed to inform the audience that the game can be heard on their website, because how would listeneres know otherwise.
