WFAN extends agreement with NY Giants

Will the games also air on 101.9 FM as well? I'm in central Connecticut and can only receive 660 AM here.

As long as CBS sees it fit to continue simulcasting 660 and 101.9 if it'll take the wind out of 98.7's sails, whatever airs on 101.9 will continue airing on 660.

WFAN could continue to simulcast Giants' games on 660 AM & 101.9 FM even if 660 is flipped to CBS Sports Radio. That's exactly what's happening in Philly, Eagles games simulcast on CBS Sports Radio 610 & Sportsradio 94.1.

I'm sure the Giants want an FM clearance moving forward, so I'm sure the games will be on 101.9, no matter what happens to 660. In Philly, the Eagles games on WIP-FM are synced to the HD for Comcast with whatever channel is running that week's game for viewers at home who want to turn the sound down on the national announcers. The AM is in "real time" with no delay, so fans in the stadium can hear the play by play as they watch the game. I would think they would do the same thing in New York.
