WFAN Intern's Horror Story

Read down to the "Comments" section in the original story where a respondent figures that the "offended" intern is allegedly referring to Sal Licata, board operator/call screener for Mike Francesa's "Mike'd Up" weekday afternoon show on WFAN.

What a dumb move by sal. He must have been pretty confident of his abilities to go to a sponsor like that! And his screaming at interns? It does not matter how stupid or dumb that intern is - he is an intern. Folks cannot treat other human beings like garbage.

No one is above the human food chain. Mr. Licata's situation just showed us that.

The guy was probably a Phillies fan. I never could understand why there are people who get so cranked up about that stuff. Come on it's only a game. Then there are those who come to work in a bad mood and they are just waiting for someone to take it out on. I'll bet nobody ever got fired for treating an intern like dirt.

Intern, just another word for free labor. I'm surprised there isn't a radio station with an intern airstaff. It's about that bad.
