Hurley was part of a round of layoffs at ESPN in the Spring of 2023.

He's got a lot of work to do... with WFAN's ratings down sharply since Mark Chernoff was forced out. The latest (6+) monthly was under 2, and down to just 2.4 in the vital Long Island sub-market.

Maybe de-emphasizing sports news and aiming for hot takes, betting and "guy talk" wasn't such a bright idea.
