Spike's father Howard Eskin is a Philly sports radio legend having hosted on WIP for many years,
currently in a reduced weekend/fill-in role.

Spike's choice - he got the chance to return home to a station and time slot he had previously held.

I don't know how The FAN is billing (their commercial load seems similar to years gone by;
though what they charge per spot is unknown), but ratings-wise they've pretty much held their own.
(WFAN has lost a smidge off the top for afternoon drive while it's competitor WEPN-FM has gained a little in the same time period.)
