Playing a freeform set of music with no commericials. I thought they might have been a pirate, but they IDed today at noon.

I wonder what the format will be. To my knowledge Kettle Morraine can't use it to simulcast WTKM since it's not a translator. I wonder though what they have planned for the station. I don't know if they could come up with something worse than polka for this LP station.

This makes me wonder if the guy who is operating this station is the same guy who used to operate a pirate station in the Bay View area in Milwaukee years ago?

I heard he sold all his equipment and moved to Cedarburg.

Tried to listen on my way home from the Falls Sunday noon, but the Spanish-language pirate was really eating them up, even *in* Mukwonago. They finally overrode the pirate about 30 miles out of downtown Milwaukee on I-43. (too bad, the format sounded pretty interesting)I'd guess the pirate is running 500 watts ERP or so...

Yes, It's "Commander Todd". He told me at the WMSE 25th reunion that he'd gotten a CP for a LP station.
