WFAS Reluctant to Move In?

WFAS has had F.C.C. permission to move into the Bronx for quite some time, but still has not done so.
Anyone have any idea why?
My guess is that owner Cumulus Media is hoping for a deal similar to the one that recently netted Cox $15 million when they sold WCTZ. Offers like that for a less than full-market signal are probably rare in this economic environment. Personally I am glad WFAS is still a Westchester based station, as the county does not have many local ones.

They'd make more money moving in and flipping to country, then waiting for a buyer.

Perhaps they could wait till WNYZ 87.7 goes off the air, then negotiate a deal with the Russian station to stay on the air at 103.9.

NERW posted in the 3/7/11 edition that Cumulus asked to have the CP cancelled so they can apply for a new one (exactly the same as the old CP) in order extend it for 3 more years and it most likely had to do with the Cumulus/Citadel merger.
