Just got an HD Radio reciever in my parents new vehicle.
I really love the format on 93.7 WFBC-HD2, (known as Funky Town).
I could hear it up here in Gaffney with very few dropouts (like going down a big hill).
I really wish this was the primary format on the 93.7 or another frequency.
I was hearing new, usual B93.7 stuff mixed in with older stuff like:
Bee Gees - "You Should Be Dancing"
Guru Josh Project - "Infinity"
Spice Girls - "Say You'll Be There"
Black Box - "Strike It Up"
Young MC - "Bust A Move"
I'd say it's like a combo of the Regular B-93.7 music mixed in with an EDM station and Rhythmic AC like WMOV & WMIA.
The variety make this a perfect station to me, and there's no commercials on it at all since I've started listening yesterday.
This format could do quite well on it's own frequency, like 93.3 or 106.3. Since we only have one HD radio in my parents car,
(and I don't live with them) it's unfortunate but at least I can still strem the format on IheartRadio on Multiple stations,
my favorite being KHJZ lately, but I also like WMOV & WMIA.
And while we're on the topic of HD radio, I can't hear WJMZ in HD up here in Gaffney,
but while in Spartanburg I was only able to pick up HD-1 & HD-2 (98.1) I couldn't find an HD-3 feed for Chuck-FM.
Also checking on 98.9-HD-2 it was no audio but listed as Delta FM.
It seems 93.7's HD-2 has the only HD signal worth listening to in this area, I checked everyone else in the Upstate.
I also liked WLYT's HD-2, it was Hot AC with a bit more variety than the regular Lite 102.9, especially more 90s music.
