So who are the names being discussed for the PD vacancy at WFBC in Greenville?

It's been WAY too quiet on this topic for too long. So who are the candidates, and who's got the inside track? Details. Details. C'mon!

Jay Love, Chase Murphy, Billy Surf (again)

I'm actually hearing a name on nobody's radar.

It's a former B employee, though.

Marty?

Gosh, that's a name I didn't even consider, myself.

If you mean Tias, that has been tossed around and I have heard that many of the Bee staff would like that, but the scuttlebutt is that Entercom isn't ready to let him leave his current situation.

He was a serious contender in the beginning, but his name is no longer being mentioned as much anymore.

As in Hawk and Marty "Marty?" You just made me laugh.

That's not one I've heard. Why would he want to? Plus, can you imagine him trying to direct Hawk and Tom? Then again, I am curious to see who they can find that will be able to direct Hawk and Tom...

But as I think about that, Nikki wasn't a high profile power player when she came to FBC and they had no trouble working with her. Maybe they are easygoing guys. Anyone know what they are like to work with?

All signs point to (from All Access) someone "a hop, skip, and jump" away?

Maybe someone from Entercom Greensboro? Only person that makes sense from up there is Michael Bryan.

Any thoughts?

Funny people are still guessing even though it happened already. Still fun to read. lolThe "hop skip and a jump" was reference to where Chase came from: KHOP... K-Hop!
