WFBK Rock Hill???

Daaang! I just looked up WFBK on recnet.com. A CP for WFBK has been issued for WFBK in FORT MILL, not Rock Hill, and the power is 100 watts at 100 feet, not 100,000 watts (the proposed transmitter site is on Sutton Rd, just west of I-77 near Baxter). At 100 watts, WFBK won't really adequately cover the Fort Mill area. The big news is that the WFBK CP is held by Richburg Educational Broadcasters, operators of WRBK, the excellent oldies station. I know for a fact that WRBK already has many listeners in Fort Mill---I'm thinking and hoping WFBK will rebroadcast WRBK. I'm so happy one of the "religious" broadcasters didn't get hold of 91.5. Congradulations to WRBK!

Fort, I'm with you on the re-broadcast idea. When I saw the WFBK calls, I suspected that there was a WRBK connection, but the 100KW signal threw me off. Jeff Sigmon's doing a great job programming 90.3.
