WFBL Archives?

I was wondering if anyone could help me in my search, or maybe just point me in the right direction? I'm looking for a copy of a broadcast by WFBL in Syracuse on March 25, 1976 from 10am to 3pm. The broadcast was from the grand opening of Penn Can Mall and the on-air personality was John Leslie. I've made a nostalgia site about Penn Can Mall - http://www.penncanmall.com - and these recordings would be a great addition to the site.

Thank you for your help.

This will be a not so easy task. I worked there at that time, it was not a place on the cutting edge of technology or organized for archiving. The station has changed hands so many times and they had such limited storage, i cant imagine that whatever they were required to keep has been kept anywhere this long. Remeber they had reels back then.
Len Bilotti is still somewhere in town, try tracking him down.

Let's see..would that have been during the 14/FBL reign or W-14..or FIRE/14..I was PD at 62/WHEN at that time, and I am sure I have the cassette somewhere of the remote of the opening of Pen Cann Mall...It's probably somewhere here..is this it? No that's the Jim O'Brian remote on WNDR opening of Shoppingtown..how about this?...Naw that's the one with Phil Markert doing the opeining at Fairmont Fair...what's this? Brother Vic broadcasting live from Mister Steak on Rt. 11...I'm SURE I have it somewhere..I'll get back to you. I am supposed to meet Ron Bee at Heids for "Food You'll Like"
