WFBQ-2 has dropped the variety sound of The Serv and debuted the new format earlier today. It's called "Q2" and there are sweepers every other song. Some are done by v/o talent others are Ace Cosby and Laura Steele welcoming you to HD Radio and Q2. The main position used is "The Class of Classic Rock". CC describes the format as deep cuts and live tracks. The data stream with title/artist wasn't on but here is most of the 4pm hour:

ONE OF THESE NIGHTS-Eagles
LAUGHING-Guess Who
JOHNNY STRIKE UP THE BAND-Warren Zevon
KENTUCKY WOMAN-Mitch Ryder
WHY DON'T WE DO IT IN THE ROAD-Beatles
BAD MOTOR SCOOTER-Montrose
MAKE THE WORLD TURN AROUND(?)-ZZ Top
SEE ME FEEL ME-The Who
FREEZE FRAME-J. Geils Band
CHANGE OF HEART-Tom Petty
ALL THE YOUNG DUDES-Mott The Hoople
CECILIA-Simon & Garfunkel
BLOWIN IN THE WIND-Bob Dylan
TOYS IN THE ATTIC-Aerosmith
AJA-Steely Dan

Didn't hear a legal ID. The songs were segued together (the fade wasn't gone before the next one started). The production elements were dry and between tracks. Not sure if they will stream this on the Q website.

They will stream it. They are doing it with all their HD-2s.

Here's the list link(it also has links to the actual streams)

Also, the WNOU-HD-2 is on the air, with a Dance format, and 107.9 THE TRACK, also has an HD-2 channel going.

Sorry clubber. Neither of these are on yet. Q, X and FYI are the only multicasters in Indy right now.

Actually WNOU HD-2 was alive and kicking the other night... (FOR SURE), although it would at times, go very long spaces between songs, and sometimes an open carrier. Where they in test mode perhaps? Also, 107.9 was also broadcasting a DEAD carrier on HD-2. Can you please check these two stations again, and let me know,,, (PLEASE)....Thanks.....

No hd-2 carrier at NOU or NTR this morning (or all weekend) although they both have had a dead carrier a few times over the last couple weeks. ZPL also has a dead carrier on hd-2. I also noticed, Radio Now is the only Emmis station in Indy broadcasting in hd. WIBC was but they shut it off (again) a few weeks ago.
