WFBX off air, as is WPBH

Yeah 94.5 was off the air around midnight when i was eatting lunch and so was WPBH. But there both back on the air now and wpbh has not changed. But was told to change this week or in comming weeks....But i will believe it when i hear it.
 
JEEEEEEEZUS GUYS!!! Give me an effing break...the sky is falling the sky is falling......93.5 and 94.5 were off for a couple of hours---in the middle of the friggin' night.....it was SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE....I sent an email to the GM, the PD, the Bus Mgr and Traffic manager about this 3 days ago....didn't know I had to let everyone on the "Radio-Info" list know about it too.....I was at the site and personally took them off the air last night so that tower climbers could repair the strobe lights on the tower....it ain't safe for the climbers to be working next to an antenna putting out 100kw (94.5).....they were working at the very tip top of the tower on the AOL (top light)....they had to climb past the 93.5 antenna to get there....We went off exactly at midnight and were back on at 335am.....you know, we have to do maintenance on this stuff from time to time....s**t happens....lighten up....

oh by the way....if a squirrel was to get on the power line, the site has a generator which would have kicked on to power the site until the squirrel was removed by the power company....

Next time you do that, maybe you could ask Double oooo to kick on their extra transmitters when you're off the air like that. :-X

Thanks for being willing to send a warning post on here when you do anything, regardless. That includes beer breaks and
potty time. That'll keep tranquility on the NF board. Plus, Rob can shadow you better. Incidentially, how tall is the tower and
how many different lights do you have? Are you sure you weren't secretly moving the tower closer to the ground or nearer another
city or state? Hehehe. Enough already.

I hope you've caught up on you're sleep, because you were a little cranky on Wed about 10:42 PM! According to my sources,
you weren't on the air again until exactly 3:35:17, but whose counting? Sleep well. I miss the pretty red lights you used to have.
Maybe you can change them back for the holidays. A green or blue one might be fun. You might wanna watch not only for
squirrels on the power line, but those white water chicken thingys are kinda pesky, too.

Damn Woot you seem a little edgy but maybe I would be too if I was up all day. Take the day off and get some rest.

Before rob, FrankB or rockaholic reports that WPAP, WFSY and WYYX are all off the air tonight (Thursday night into Friday morning) and there must be some bizarre Clear Channel/Magical conspiracy going on, I am letting everyone know that:

1. WPAP will be signing off at 11pm
2. WFSY and WYYX will be signing off at midnight (plus ch51 TV)

This will allow for some tower work to be done on the Owen Wood Rd tower near Fountain.

I don't report when anything is off-air unless it has been a couple of days. Plus, i work all night and just noticed it was off-air, but just thought something was being worked on at the tower or something. But since i saw something on here about it, i just said something just to say it was off-air. I never said anything about wyyx being off the air a coulple of weeks ago. But that's going to suck not being able to listen to 97x tonight at work. But that's ok, i appreciate the hard work people do out there to keep the radio and tv station broadcasting everywhere and keep it up to date.

O, u can take 93.5 off the air all u want, would not change anything out there right now,lol.

This will be my last post on this topic, or any other for a number of possible reasons, but wth:

a.) you are not telling us when you will sign back ON, so do we all have to stay up and wait for you to post that all is clear...???
That's not fair. Especially on a school night.

b.) and look at your post, Mr. Engineer in a blue suit...why is it that all your spacecrafts have four letters all starting with
W??? Does that stand for Wooten? Why can't you use some other letter patterns like APAP, PFSY, DYYX???

c.) stop showing off by working late, and join the others by just being off the air during the day, you get paid the same
and you can't win CC ENG of the YEAR again can you???

For the record (in case you are keeping score), WPAP was back on at 1:57am and WFSY was back on at 1:47....WYYX came back on around 1:45 (I didn't turn that one on, their engineer did)
