I just found this on Radio and Records. WFEB was sold to W.O. Powers, in exchange for the release of the debt owed to him by Alabama Broadcasting. The name W.O. Powers sounds familiar, don't know exactly where I've heard it before. One of the former owners of WFEB, maybe?
