It would be nice if Citadel would keep the standards format on WFFN. It sure would be a "breath of fresh air" on the radio.
Unfortunately, we have to face the
reality, though. Even if the rumors aren't true about Citadel putting country on 95.3, and they want to make a "go" with the standards format, it's not going to make it. The adult standards format is disappearing from the radio dial, just like its "beautiful music" counterpart did several years ago.
It's a wonder that WJRD is programming standards. Citadel
might keep it on WJRD. Let's hope, anyhow.
