WFFT gets new programming

After leaving WANE last year (to add 2 new subchannels,) Antenna TV is headed back to the Fort on WFFT's airwaves.
Don't know when or what channel, as Bounce TV already resides on 36.2 (55.2 by the display on my set.) But I'll be glad to have it back to add to what WANE picked up, just to offer choices in midday programming for a guy without cable. (but does have streaming choices...)

Antenna TV, Tribune Broadcasting’s multicast network, has expanded to clearances on 135 stations across the country bringing the network’s reach to 86% of US TV households. In the new affiliate agreements, Antenna TV has partnered with Heartland Media to add 3 stations.

New Antenna TV markets include Heartland Media’s WFFT/Ft. Wayne, Indiana KIMT/Rochester Minnesota and KQTV/St. Joseph Missouri.

looks like within 90 days it will be added

I know this from watching...
WFFT's had Bounce for 3 years now and occasionally the quality of the video will reduce to squares. I'm not kidding. In the repack they go from RF 36 to 20, but I think they still run HD off their side-tower mounted antenna. I'm hoping they get things fixed video quality wise when Antenna TV arrives.
Then go over to Butler Road and show those kids how to make two HD signals cooperate on one tower. (21.2 NBC video gets ugly a lot when it's fast action. ABC on 21.1 doesn't.)

Update on when to expect this change...
Antenna TV replied in a post on their Facebook page yesterday (3/1) that their programming should begin to air on WFFT around 3/20.
I've been looking and nothing yet. Still wondering if WFFT plans to keep Bounce or move it for Antenna TV on 55.2. Time will tell.

Right at Midnight they fired up 55.3 with Johnny Carson.
Epic way to start new programming...sort of. (It's a rerun after all...) With WANE's additions on 13.3 (Laff) and 15.4 (Escape) the Fort Wayne market has some better daytime programming options.
Now if I could get 45.1 and .2 or any of the DTV America/HC2 stations would come on the air there's room for more...
