WFGF/Lima BIG Announcement?

WFGF-FM, New Country 92.1 The Frog has been runnings sweepers over the last few days, posting fb messages and sending out texts regarding a big announcement March 1st at 10AM. Anyone have any thoughts on what it could be?

I could see them trying Classic Country on that signal, but WDOH makes a good chunk of change and maybe they are swapping signals? Lite Rock 92.1 and 107.1 The Frog?

They announced last Thursday (3/1) they will be playing less commercials and more music... not really due all the hype they built it up to.

I've been listening for the last week and they are doing a lot less. Under 4 minutes per spot block now, use to be at 7/per.

I think Maverick is going company wide to no more than 8 minutes of commercials per hour, similar to the Cox Media Corporate push to do 50 Minutes of Music per hour.

I used to listen to WHKO 99.1 a while ago, and they would claim to play 50 minutes of music an hour. I would occasionally listen for a whole hour, check their song log, and there would be one song on there that they never played. Had a commercial during that spot. Ended up being about 46.5 minutes of music an hour.
