Around 1998 or 1999, I received airchecks of WFHN "Fun 107" in Fairhaven, MA. At the time, Fun 107 was a Pop-Rhythmic leaning Mainstream CHR that had a lot of 90's dance recurrents in rotation, making it one of my favorite stations in the country.
Does the station still sound anything like that today? As far as I can tell, they don't have a Webcast. And I'm not aware of any (free) Web site that lists sample hours. www.fun107.com seems to imply that the station still leans Pop-Rhythmic, but there's no indication on there about whether they have dance recurrents in rotation.
BTW, WFHN serves the New Bedford-Fall River, MA market. However, it seems that Arbitron numbers for that market are embargoed - the market is not listed on R&R Online. The Arbitron section on All-Access lists it as market #170, but the most recent book shown there is from Spring 2003.
Also, longtime readers of this Web site may remember the days (before the Radio-Info name & domain) when the few message boards that existed were housed on the now-defunct InsideTheWeb.com. One of those forums was the old Mid-Atlantic Radio Board -- and it was dominated by discussion of another "Fun 107". This one was a temporary "stunt" being used on 107.3 FM in Atlantic City. It sounded very much like WFHN. The call letters at the time were WZZP -- I believe that they "officially" signed as WPUR "Cat Country 107.3".
