Lately, the 103.7 WFIU signal sounds a bit off to me. Like it's literally just slightly off frequency. That's the best way I can think to describe it. I've tried both of my car radios, and no other local stations have this issue. I've also verified it with my home stereo. Has anyone else noticed this?
I first noticed it on their 100.7 translator W264AL in Columbus, and then I tuned in to the main signal to hear the same issue. It been like this for a few weeks.
I checked their broadcast status page, and no issues have been reported. Interestingly, they do provide a short explanation of "Atmospheric Inversion" at the top of the page. I didn't notice this the last time I checked. And for what it's worth, a link to the status page used to be in the footer of their web site, but now I can't find it. It seems odd that the link is missing. I had to do an internet search to find it.
