WFLF-I stand corrected!

As reported earlier...The TRN people (Talk Radio Network) are in negotiations with WFLF....and (new news) have committed (in writing) to run TRN programming "LIVE!" This means Laura Ingraham will replace Glenn Beck, and Jerry Doyle will be replacing Bud Hedinger.

The folks at WDBO have 2 talents from TRN...Michael Savage and Rusty Humphries.

Should be interesting to watch...

Reported where? All I saw was your post..and a rumor is not a report.

So a Clear Channel-owned station is going to replace a Clear Channel show with one from another network? I'll believe it when I hear it...or when I see a report.

I'm with you, but maybe Beck goes to 104.1 and Burke's show gets shorter?<P ID="signature">______________

Well, I care less in your "believabilty factor!" I'm just passing it on from credible sources.

Also, when your talent-pool is as shallow as Premieres' (Show me numbers from anyone other than Rush L.) you will be allowed to explore options as the PD here can. http://www.premrad.com/

As a matter of fact, another TRN Talent (Mancow) was in negotiation to do morning's at WTKS...moving the Monsters back to middays, but Burke's number-pop in the book nixed that for the time)

Believe it, or not!

This all sounds rather trollish...

This all sounds rather trollish... especially given WFLF's bump in the first trend.

Re: This all sounds rather trollish...

Exactly. You are indeed smarter than the average bear.

My credible source tells me that we'll be witnessing another "correction" in the next day or two. After all, everyone KNOWS that all Orlando stations will be switching to Jack by the end of the summer. It's been reported right here on this board, dontcha know.

Wow...I'm turning into a cynical old fart before my very eyes.

Re: This all sounds rather trollish...

The rumor I heard is that all the FM stations will be flipping to "Hot Talk" and the AM stations will be simulcasting The Jim Bakker Show. Or was that The Tammy Faye Show?

Youre all wrong.

Glenn Beck stays. A different TRN show takes the mike in evening hours.

Why on earth do you think they'd give up Beck when he's on fire and the ratings are up?
