WFMR antenna move

I saw that WFMR will move their antenna on to a tower closer to the city (I think the same tower as Jammin' and the Hog). I hope this means Saga is committed to the classical format. I remember when they moved WJMR's antenna and that helped the station improve its coverage in the urban areas. Speaking of Jammin', they beat V100 in the last ratings sweep. In my opinion, I can't stand V100 anymore...no local quiet storm show, limited playlist, not enough live shifts and no local mix show. Bring back the "V100 Jams the Most Variety" Days and the Friday Night Flava...those were the days. The station now sounds like every other CC urban station...lots of syndicated shows with no connection to the Milwaukee market and too much top-40 hip-hop...pretty boring.

I think their reason is so they can bring WFMR to their home base (where all except WKLH transmit from) and either sell or stop paying rent for the old WZMF tower/building in Menomonee Falls.

The move won't do much do their coverage but it'll for sure improve it in Milwaukee County in areas such as South Milwaukee. Its directional to the south so they can protect WPPN.

How soon will the WFMR tower be moved to their studio antenna at 42nd and McKinley Blvd? Will the power be raised as well?

Any news when WJTI-1460 aka WBJX in Racine, Wis. will go on the airwaves?
