WFMX Country Talent back to the Triad

I was making the rounds at the Toby Keith concert last night and was told by an old buddy from CC in Charlotte that some of the WFMX talent is surfacing at WPAW. Anybody hear anything?

I would not doubt it. Considering that the Wolf does not have a single part time person, they are very much under staffed. Beware of the Bliss...

JJ McCain

Any theories on who will land there? Bitter JJ? I didn't see your name on their site anymore.

I was listening to WYYD the other night and OJ wasn't on the air. I hadn't been through there for a while so don't know if it was just a one night thing or what. I hear The Wolf is looking for someone good to do nights and Opie does like the night shift. Just a thought.

Not bitter at all. Working at the Wolf for a short time simply reminded me as to why I never want to work in radio full time again. I have worked with some great PD's and was in for a huge shock at the Wolf. That being said, the talent at the station couldn't be any nicer and I wish them nothing but success.

Let's see who we got:

Keith Todd: isn't he in Raleigh at CC's country station?
Opie: "spacetrucker" said he was at WYYD. that's in Roanoke, VA? haven't heard him on air last time he listened.
Mark Rose: don't know where he's at.
Edd 2 Dee's Please: Don't think he would come and work for the Wolf. just a thought.
Dave Michaels: Is he still in charlotte at CC?

Those are the ones I can remember being on air.

That said, who do we think is the culprit?

I think Billy Buck is happy as co-owner at WSIC. At least he was last time I saw him. Isn't it about time for his son to finish at App. State?
