WFNE Move to 106.3

Anyone know the latest on the WFNE move from 106.7 to 106.3?......Along with the frequency change, the CP also calls for a move to the WCZT tower where it will broadcast 6000 watts @ 300 feet HAAT......I thought Coastal would rushed to get this done before the summer beach season.

I'd venture a guess, based on the fact that "Coastal Broadcasting Systems Inc., Debtor-in-Possession" is the company name, (on the FCC web site) that they are out of money. Unless someone bails them out or buys the stations, the CP will probably expire.

As of last night it was still on 106.7. It usually is one of the worst commercial signals in the state, but last night it was heard over 100 miles away.
