WFNE Moving from 106.7 to 106.3

Fun 107 won't cover as many fish after the move. This might be the only way to make money with this station.

A good move for signal challenged WFNE which has had so many format changes that they are written on a "Magic Slate." The "new" Coastal Broadcast Center on Pacific Ave was quite lovely but closed before the paint was dry..what happened there???
Too much automation and satellite programming. Sounds like a low budget operation. I know guys that run Part 15 am stations from their basements that sound smoother than Coastal properties.
The WCZT signal is pretty decent but, AFAIK, coming from an older transmitter and less than state of the art processing. FNE should have almost as good a signal from the CZT power although I think propagation is a little less efficient at that end of the dial.
