WFNW 1380 Naugatuck

Well I remember discovering them on ye olde Zenith Transoceanic (well, it was young then) about two weeks before the shift. I was in Washington Ct, and hearing a faint signal at 860.
I wondered who they could be, and after hearing their ID I looked them up in White's Radio Log. When they switched to 1380, the signal was stronger, but there was interference that made them unlistenable where we were. I have no idea what it was. I have fond memories of those days. Had some souped up radios that had my classmates in awe.

Confirmed that WFNW is in fact called Radio Caruso. They will be doing a live broadcast from Jaws Pawnshop in New Britain in a couple weeks. During the remote "Jaws" will be offering a discount to Radio Caruso listeners. Seems kind of strange a station who's antenna is in Naugatuck and has its studio in Waterbury will be doing a remote in New Britain. The station isn't even that strong in Southington let alone New Britain. P.S. I don't think I should be able to pick up WFNW in Southington at night.

I don't get that station here in New Britain at all. I get a so-so signal of WDRC-AM 1360. WPOP-AM 1410 would wipe out 1380 where I am...unless I intentionally null WPOP-AM somewhat.
