WFNX transmitter move

An update on the previous thread. At 7:25pm on March 1st, I've noticed throughout the late afternoon and early evening that WFNX (101.7) was having some audio issues, like one or both audio channels going out, and at one point I think the station went entirely off the air for a brief time. In the past few minutes, the clear signal that I usually get here in Allston suddently turned very staticky, but still quite audible. Could WFNX have finally flipped the switch on the new tower? Or could they be running both transmitters at the same time and I'm picking up the hash? Hmmm... if anyone knows, post it!

I noticed it too. I could barely listen to the station in Roslindale tonight. It sounded awful.

WFNX is awesome. They play music you can't hear elsewhere. The stuff they play isn't the crusty dusty rock that WBCN embraces, nor the commercialized souless crap you hear on KISS 108. It's more cutting edge and their listeners are faithfull.
