WFPG

What's the deal? Just about every other song is Christmas. Website is decked out all Christmas. Started with the Christmas Delilah version (then again WOBM did the Christmas Delilah too, and are only promoting Christmas music for the Weekends atleast, and I guess at night with Delilah). Are they just working it in and are going to make the switch or is it just for the holiday?

It's just for the weekend, as a soundtrack for the first big shopping weekend. Starting Monday, the Holiday music will not be as prevalent.

Market conditions are such that WFPG can take a more conservative approach to Christmas Music. If you recall last year, there was a station in town that launched Christmas Music in the third week of October. WFPG didn't react and stayed to their game plan and had a very successful fall book. I'd expect the same this year.
