The Blizzard is owned by the Halifax Christian Community Church. The Lashes run it, strickly as managers.

And no they don't own any interest in any commercial properties. They built a LPFM Christian station in their home state of PA, and it is operated by another Christian group.

They are good broadcasters, who decided to enjoy what Florida has to offer. Its a shame, that they can't be left alone to do what they do.
 
I have nothing against your friend. Sounds like he is creative, and hard working. Just wondered,who owns the station, and what all the fuss is about.
 
It is refreshing to see REAL entrepreneurial RADIO people give it a go..instead of the latest acquisition, frequency trade and format change by the monopolies. Wouldn't it be great if each neighborhood had it's own LPFM...then everyone could afford to get a "mention" or some underwriting time and we would all get a chance to taste a different flavor besides the same handful of dull corporate ones we have now.
