I think this station has been streaming for awhile but I don't know if it has been noted on this board.
WFRL-AM Freeport, IL has a Standards format, locally produced when I have listened and with a local announcer in middays anyway.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought WFRL had been running Timeless Favorites last time I checked but if they added more local programming that's great. I'll check it out.

I wouldn't really call it "Standards". It's more of a "Gold Based AC". But then, so are the ABC and Dial Global formats now.

I agree that it is old style MOR-ish Gold AC, however once in awhile they will throw in an Easy Listening classic too. It seems to be all local during the day with lots of local news breaks.

Please don't put Dial Global in the same category with Timeless Favorites. There is some overlap, but they are very different.

Methinks that a better term for gold AC would be 'Adult-Pop Classics.' Just thought I'd 'throw that one out there.'

I will admit the selctions on Dial Global this morning could make a person think it was AC, but it varies.

I happen to like the AC-sounding stuff they do. Most of it, anyway.

They seem to be moving more in a standards direction at times.
