WFSB Channel 3.3 (Eyewitness News Now)

Anyone know why there are so many technical problems with Channel 3.3? Often times they'll show a LIVE City Cam and have the wrong town listed.

Examples: Milford listed for Southington. Old Saybrook listed for Colchester. Milford listed for Old Saybrook.

Like before I was watching. They showed a camera view of Queen Street in Southington. The camera is somewhere above McDonald's and you can see McDonald's in the live shot. It said Live City Cam Southington. Then they took it down and put up the 3 Day Weather Forecast. Then they took that down. And put the City Cam of Southington back up, but this time it said Live City Cam Milford. Do they think their viewers are that dumb and they won't notice?

Also the ticker at the bottom of the screen was frozen with the score of the Philadelphia Washington Game on the Screen."

COMCAST 247.

I noticed the same thing about the Queen St/Milford switch the last time I was watching that channel. We were in the middle of a major snow storm at the time, so you're talking a good 4 months ago. You'd think someone at the station would have noticed these problems since then. I also get horrible pixilation on that channel; also, the audio continuously speeds up and slows down. I never have any trouble with NBC30's channel (the old WeatherPlus), but the content is garbage in comparison to EyewitnessNews Now.

P.S. It's on Comcast channel 264 around here.

Ah, so you're on the old Adelphia System. Anyway these geniuses at Merideth still can't fix their Enfield Weather reporting station. It's been listing the current temperature in Enfield as 88 degrees 24/7 for the past few weeks. (Reminds me of the TD Bank North marquee in downtown Southington on the corner of 10 and Berlin. Their temperature thing is messed up too. 3 weeks ago the temperature was listed as 156 Degrees F and this past Saturday 190 Degrees F).

I'm sorry, but who even watches these subchannels. I mean, really....wtf????

You would be very surprised who is KMS. With the economy going in the tank, the cost of cable going up, set top boxes are getting more and more popular, more people than you think watch them.
