WFSB Gets Kool

Effective yesterday, I heard Kool 101 start to use weather updates from WFSB/3. I would imagine that the other Hall stations are using WFSB/3 weather updates, too?

At the same time, the Jim Reed morning show apparently is now until 10 AM, with Dave Wright's five-hour shift from 10 AM to 3 PM.

(Yes, I think this is just as important as a Fox 61/Clear Channel staffer being pregnant. ::) )

I remember they used to use Channel 3 for Weather and/or traffic on Clear Channel Stations in Hartford (and New Haven) and Citadel Stations in New London. I remember at the end of the newscast it would say listen for Channel 3 Eyewitness News Weather on:

WKSS, WWYZ, WPHH, WHCN, WKCI, WELI, WQGN, WXLM. There were others too. I believe.

I wonder if they'll go back to promoting on the air for the Hall Stations. They're already running ads for Scot Haney's Weather forecasts on WPLR.

Channel 3 News is a big deal, so of course, you'd want to be affiliated with their weather staff...

The Hall stations in Norwich/New London (WCTY, WICH, WKNL, WNLC) are all using WFSB forecasts.

As suspected - thanks for the confirmation (especially for WICH, which at this point does not stream for some reason... a different question for another thread ::) )...
