WFSB-HD3

Looks like they are doing something different with the third subchannel. Up until now, it was a similcast of the main WFSB signal. This morning before 7am it was a test pattern with "CBS New York" on it, it looks like this is a network feed. It's showing the CBS/Nick Jr. programming same as on WSHM except for when WSHM had a local spot, then it just went dark.

I wonder if/when they will open up a 4th sub channel.

Won't happen anytime soon, unless they plan on doing the type of system that the PBS's currently do where during the day time they broadcast in SD with 5 sub channels, then in the evening 3 of them go off the air so the higher bandwidth using HD sub channel comes on.
