WFSB Rocky Hill

Does anyone know where their are some pictures and video of the new broadcast house? On wfsb.com they don't have much about the new place in Rocky Hill. Anyone know where to find pics?

>Nice building, but would have looked better in downtown Hartford.

WFSB's move is a loss to Hartford. However is it necessary for a TV or radio station to be in its city of license? I believe a station has an obligation to the public in all of its primary coverage area. Therefore I don't believe it matters that Channel 3 is in nearby Rocky Hill and WTIC Radio is in Farmington. Quite a few CT stations have moved out of their COLs in Hartford, New Haven and Waterbury since the 50s.

I do believe WFSB will lose some of its profile now. WFSB was in the centre of everything, and was the first thing you'd see entering Hartford. I don't believe anyone can see the new building unless they enter the office park. If WVIT moves in Hartford, I don't know if that's possible, but I would bet they'd increase their viewership. Perhaps have an outdoor background, as the Today Show has. I'm surprised nobody has thought of that.

WVIT-TV is staying in West Hartford. They're about to start building right next to their existing building off of I-84/US 6.

Why doesn't WFSB put something on their website wfsb.com like a video tour of the new building. I haven't seen much video on wfsb.com of news video for many stories either. I recently noticed that, WVIT has more local news video sad to say.

Now when are they going to go HD with the news?

I can't imagine them building a new studio without making it HD.
