WFSY

today at 9am I switched WFSY to a temporary site on the WJHG-TV studio tower on Panama City Beach so we can change out the WFSY antenna which was damaged by Hurricane Michael....WFSY will be back on the main Owenwood Road tower 100kw in 4 to 6 days +/- weather and wind. At the temporary site, WFSY is running about 4kw ERP at 375 ft. It is covering the metro very well but I am sure people in the outlying areas such as Marianna are not hearing the station.

the new antenna was installed over the weekend and WFSY started transmitting on it at full power at 4pm Sunday afternoon....the temporary antenna and coax was removed today from the channel 7 studio tower.
